JavaScript is not currently enabled, but is required for full CodeSonar manual search and browse functionality.

If you are viewing this file in your hub's Web GUI, enable JavaScript in your browser: you will also need it for GUI functionality.

If you opened this file directly from disk, your browser may be directly suppressing JavaScript functionality: certain browsers perform this suppression on local files (but not files delivered by web servers) for security reasons.

If you access the manual through the hub's Web GUI, the functionality will not be suppressed because the hub is a web server.
Alternatively, your browser may allow you to explicitly disable the security setting that suppresses functionality. See the CodeSonar FAQ for more information.

At this point you will have done the following (if you have missed any steps, do them now).

Installed CodeSonar.
Performed any necessary hub setup for your installation (including creating or upgrading a hub, if that is your responsibility).

Once you're ready, get started using CodeSonar with some introductory tutorials.

Do you want all users at your organization to have access to all results on the hub, or do you want to control access to some or all hub information?

Do you want the hub to use HTTPS rather than HTTP?

Should user-added warning annotations be shared between projects on the hub, or kept within the scope of a single CodeSonar project?

The Task: Lock Down a Hub section provides step by step instructions for setting up a hub with security-conscious resolutions for these (and other) questions.

If you want to restrict access to your hub, work through the steps of this task.

Otherwise, read through the task to familiarize yourself with the available options; performing any steps that are suitable for your usage needs.

In particular, we strongly recommend that you choose a policy for warning annotation sharing ("warning group scope") early in the hub's lifetime and then keep it unchanged.
