Notes on Upgrading

If you have made changes to any of your CodeSonar configuration files, you will need to upgrade those files as part of the upgrade process.

What's New

Bug Fixes This patch release fixes several bugs that were present in CodeSonar 7.3p0, including the following.
  • A bug in the qcc compiler model.
  • Overly-restrictive regular expression validation for the IGNORED_COMPILATIONS configuration parameter.
  • Hub exceptions in hubs that do not grant G_SIGN_IN permission to the special Anonymous user.
  • The Enabled checkbox was not respected when creating new users through the CodeSonar web GUI.
  • A crash in codesonar uninstall-services (which can be invoked explicitly, but is also implicitly invoked by the CodeSonar Windows uninstaller).
  • CodeSonar for Binaries only: an analysis crash.
